Chris Levine is a light artist and pioneer in the field of immersive and multidimensional art. Born in Canada in 1960 and based in the UK, he studied at Chelsea School of Art and later at Central Saint Martins. Levine is best known for his iconic light portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, 'Lightness of Being' (2004), which exemplifies his exploration of perception through light, laser, and holography.
