Joan Cornella
About Joan Cornella
Joan Cornellà is a Spanish cartoonist known for his darkly humorous, wordless comics that pair cheerful visuals with disturbing, surreal scenarios. Born in Barcelona in 1981, he gained international attention with his six-panel strips featuring brightly coloured characters caught in absurd or violent situations. His work satirises modern life with a blunt, unsettling simplicity and has been featured in exhibitions and collaborations worldwide.
