Juno Calypso

Juno Calypso is a British photographer known for her staged self-portraits exploring femininity, solitude, and beauty rituals. Born in London in 1989, she studied at the London College of Communication and began developing her alter ego “Joyce” while at art school. Her work features surreal, pink-lit settings, often hotel rooms, that blend cinematic aesthetics with dark humour. Calypso has gained international recognition for her unique take on identity and the performance of gender.
