About Andy Warhol
Andy Warhol was an artist and filmmaker associated with Pop Art. His screenprints brought celebrity portraits, advertising, flowers and consumer imagery into repeated arrangements of colour and form. Subjects including Marilyn Monroe and Campbell’s Soup Cans connect his art with mass media, while his New York studio, The Factory, brought together art, film and celebrity culture.
