About Damien Hirst
Damien Hirst’s practice explores mortality, science, consumerism and the organisation of colour. Preserved animals, medicine cabinets and the Spot Paintings approach these themes through markedly different materials and formats. His prints and editions extend a wider interest in repetition, authorship and visual systems, while individual projects retain their own distinct methods and identities.
